Clicker Game

An incremental that runs on the same measurement as the rest of the bench. Upgrades are priced against real click rates, and your live CPM sits beside the total so you can see what your hand is actually worth.

How to

How to play

  1. Click the pad. Each click banks one, and your live CPM is shown beside the total.
  2. Buy the first upgrade at 15. Every upgrade either raises what a click is worth or adds income per second.
  3. Keep buying. Prices rise about fifteen per cent per purchase, so the cheapest upgrade is usually the right one.
  4. Leave it running if you like. Per-second income accrues on a real clock, so it works while the tab is idle.

The measurement

Why a clicker game is on a measurement site

The numbers are tied to real rates

The first upgrade costs 15 clicks, which a 400 CPM hand banks in a little over two seconds. The whole price curve is set from measured click rates rather than picked arbitrarily, so progress reflects what your hand can actually do.

Per-second income is deliberately weak early and dominant late, which is the shape every incremental uses: it turns an active clicking game into an idle one, and the crossover is the moment the genre is built around.

Progress is yours and stays local

The save is written to this browser every few seconds and holds only the totals and which upgrades you own. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and wiping it is one button.

Idle income is calculated from the clock rather than from a frame counter, so a backgrounded tab neither loses progress nor invents it — a common bug in browser incrementals that quietly rewards leaving a tab open in the foreground.

The bench

Every tool on the bench

One instrument per input, all on the same clock. A rate is only comparable against the same tool and the same interval.

Questions

Asked of the chronometer

Does it keep earning while the tab is closed?

No. Per-second income runs on a real clock while the page is open, including when the tab is in the background, but a closed tab earns nothing. Your progress is saved either way and picks up where it stopped.

What is the fastest way to progress early?

Buy the cheapest upgrade available, every time, and do not save for something expensive. Prices rise about fifteen per cent per purchase, so the cheapest one is almost always the best return per click until per-second income takes over.

Would an auto-clicker help?

Nothing stops you, but there is no leaderboard and no score to submit here, so all it does is remove the game. The live CPM readout beside the total is also the one part of this page that describes your hand, and a script makes it describe the script.
