What makes a measurement report useful
The chronometer stores nothing on our side, so a session cannot be looked up after the fact. Whatever is in your message is the entire evidence we have, which makes the specifics worth more here than on most contact forms.
Five details resolve almost every report:
- The browser and its version, and whether the same thing happens in a second browser.
- The device — a phone, a trackpad and a mouse each behave differently, and the tool reports pointer events rather than mouse events for that reason.
- The interval you ran, since a one-second reading and a sixty-second reading are different measurements and go wrong in different ways.
- The reading you got and the reading you expected, both as numbers.
- Whether an extension is active. Anything that intercepts clicks — an auto-clicker, a macro tool, a privacy extension that blocks timing APIs — changes what the page sees.
